During this past week I have been working on a story board with my team Kori and Jamie. This is going to help me understand what I am going to be doing when I am editing. I have been gave a storyboard to start my plan. This story board contains four boxes that I draw in and next to it I Write what is going on in the drawings and this should be very clear and understandable to who ever is reading it. I also write what type of shot it is going to be e.g. Long shot, Close up and mid shot. I also talk about the duration, camera angle, lighting, description, sound and setting. All of this should help me understand what is going on in the scene. At the end of this I should be able to make a well created movie clip and should be interesting for the viewers.
My idea was about two friends and one of the friends end up getting robbed. So we have one friend walking up to the door he opens the main door then he knocks and he gets let in. The two friends have a small conversation for a while then while the other friend is caught of guard the other friend then steals her phone and says he has to go and then that's really the end of it. When we put all the editing in the camera techniques you would be able to see is shot reverse shot, Rule of thirds and the 180 degree rule. All the techniques will make our video clip much better. We have also included different type of camera angles such as long shots close ups etc.
